“ I left Kodiak a few weeks ago and I already miss this place. I often ate lunch here. My favorite was the salmon pasta salad and salmon burger. The wait staff is always generous and playful. They made me feel at home. I like the traffic, also. Although the bar is small, it's never stuffed with too many people; it's always comfortable with places to sit. If you're in Kodiak, stop by and hang out. It has great food and it's a great place to meet the locals. ”

“ Love the chowder out there and the service was excellent. Only 2 issues with going there, 1 - they only had chowder and pasta, which were good BTW. 2 - it was a weekend so there’s always someone loud, drinking and watching sports, yelling at the game. Still is an excellent place for a bite. ”
“ Rendezvous is one of our favorite spots for dinner and drinks, or if we have been out the road all day and need a good hearty meal. Friday night's are steak nights, where they grill steaks on the back grill and are perfection. They are also kid friendly and accommodate the menu offering grilled cheese and chicken quesadillas. Some favorites of ours are the BLT which is loaded with crispy bacon, fresh lettuce and tomatoes and a side of handcut fries. The clam chowder is made in house and is my favorite chowder on the island. The salmon burger and halibut burger are also a favorite of mine. The Philly cheese steak is loaded with tender pieces of beef,mushrooms,peppers, onions and cheese. The pasta salad is a smoked salmon pasta salad and a side is a great addition to any meal. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Fish tacos, steak tacos, burgers, fish and chips. It's all local and fresh!!! ”
“ It's all been said before, so I will just say it's all true, the Rendezvous is a great place for food and drink. Also, a beer and fish tacos are where it's at! The burger was also done right, with a good toasted bun and fresh lettuce and tomato. The chowder rules, it's very unique and enjoyable. ”
“ This is such a great place to eat on the other side of town. The owner was very nice and helpful. She helped us pick out what to order and was very quick and efficient. The food came out so fast & hot. There is a full bar along with a pool table and darts to enjoy. It is pretty outdated though. The food was excellent! There were no complaints! Everything was so filling, tasted fresh, and great quality. The cod sandwich was delicious and the fish tacos were incredible, it's a go to dish. The smoked salmon pasta was very good, I could eat that every day! The clam chowder tasted so good, it had so much flavor, slightly spicy, but it was mainly full of potatoes and only one small clam. It was also more of a soup than a chowder since it was more watery and not thick at all. I prefer chowder to be thick and creamy, but the taste was super delicious! This is a great spot if you're on your way home from fishing, or just want to take a nice drive and enjoy some great food! ”
